Both of us being people who grew up in Christian families, we know that alone does not give you salvation. What was the moment you knew that you were not just a kid who grew up in a Christian home, but a child of God who had a real genuine relationship with Christ?
Even though I grew up in a Christian home my first real encounter with God happened in my early teens. You (dionce) may attest to this as well but our youth group was very blessed with wonderful leaders, leaders that were completely sold out for God. Their love for God was contagious and through them, God instilled in me a desire to pursue a genuine relationship with Him.
